When this product is heated to decomposition (500°C), it will generate highly toxic gases such as hydrogen fluoride.	Extreme temperatures, such as fires, will cause decomposition and formation fluorine. Firefighters should avoid all bodily contact, wear full protective clothing and self-contained breathing apparatus.

Large Spills : Employees should be trained in safety procedures for the storage and handling of this product. Any personnel in area should wear a NIOSH approved breathing apparatus and protective clothing. Isolate product spill area. Carefully shovel material and place in clean, dry container and cover. Remove container from spill site and dispose of in accordance with federal, state and local regulations.
