Ammonium dichromate is the inorganic compound with the formula (NH₄)₂Cr₂O₇. In this compound, as in all chromates and dichromates, chromium is in a +6 oxidation state, commonly known as hexavalent chromium.

Slightly hazardous in case of eye contact (irritant).

Potassium chromate (K₂CrO₄) is a yellow chemical indicator used for identifying concentrations of chloride ions in a salt solution with silver nitrate (AgNO₃). It is a class two carcinogen and can cause cancer on inhalation.[1]

Sodium dichromate is the chemical compound with the formula Na₂Cr₂O₇. Usually, however, the salt is handled as its dihydrate Na₂Cr₂O₇·2H₂O. Virtually all chromium ore is processed via conversion to sodium dichromate.
